The Reuben sandwich is said to have originated in Omaha, maybe that's why I love it so much. But really I think I love it because of my Mom's version. She made the one above the first night I was in Omaha for American Thanksgiving. Fresh from the oven bread filled with: Sauerkraut, Thousand Island dressing, corned beef, and swiss cheese...I can't wait for Christmas in Omaha.

OMG - that looks so good. If I close my eyes, I can smell it, or what I think it smells like... which smells really good.
What time is Christmas dinner? I'll brink the beers, eh.
Cupcake, did she make the bread too??
Broccoli - I don't think Porter flies to Omaha! And "brink" the beers? Is that a combination of bring and drink? Is that Canadian?
Prosecco - I cannot tell you that! Mom's secret!
Sorry, I mean to say "Boink the Beers". Ha! Eh?
